Interview with Rick Ridgeway of Patagonia

Rick Ridgeway, Patagonia’s Vice President of Environmental Initiatives and Special Media Projects speaks with ISC about some of the efforts that Patagonia is undertaking to address the issues of climate change through responsible paper sourcing, lifecycle analysis and support for multi-stakeholder initiatives such as “Freedom to Roam” a coalition of people, businesses, conservation and recreation groups whose goal is to bring awareness of wildlife corridor protection to the forefront of public knowledge through sound science, effective policies and public engagement.

Rick is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, an author and one of the world’s foremost mountaineers and adventurers. He manages Patagonia Productions, the company’s division that publishes books and produces films, and he oversees the company’s environmental grant-making, environmental education and special multi-year environmental projects such as Freedom to Roam.
